Grooming offered by appointment only. This service can be incorporated into a boarding stay if time allows.
I offer basic grooms using safe equipment and products! Nail trims (with or without dremel), anal glands, ear flushing.
No fancy cuts or styles at this time.

Boarding facility is rurally located surrounded by country fields, attached directly to my home for close monitoring. It is basically an expansion of my own dogs' kennel styles with various types of crates and runs, catering to the specific individual needs of each and every dog. Temperature controlled, 24 hour monitoring, 2 point security with routine enrichment! A large fenced in yard is available for potty breaks and play care.
Play care is based on personality and play style. Dogs are evaluated beforehand. None are "thrown together." If a dog does not bond well with others, there are plenty of options for outlet with me such as sniff walks, fetch, enrichment, etc.
Medication and dietary needs can be easily met when requested.
Leash walking and separate let outs available in addition to enclosed / IMPACT kennels for high anxiety breeds.

• Virtual discussion is also available for a small fee. I normally do this when I am unable to do a home visit quickly, but want to try and help in some way!

ABOUT ME:
I was born into a family with 3 large breed dogs with parents who taught me about more than just basic pet care. Dogs have always been family, not pets. My first job out of high school was as a veterinary assistant / kennel technician, which I revisited after the Covid pandemic. My household has always been a multi dog household and following Covid I was able to expand into boarding out of my home, adding grooming and training into the mix also. One of our dogs was a "covid puppy" in addition to having a new baby, and this required a lot of additional education for myself in order to meet his needs. I would, currently, label my training as "balanced." I believe no two dogs are alike and each require different approaches for their demands. I see no wrong in "managing" any issues within your pack to put ease to your lifestyle.
My dreams have come true opening my own facility now and I look forward to caring for your dogs (in addition to my own) each and every day!

WHY BLACK ROCK?
If you are searching for something outside of standard dog boarding, Black Rock is an option. Placed deep within spacious country fields, both my boarding area and fencing are directly attached to my home so it doesn't feel like standard boarding. I would describe the area as "calm" with lots of room for additional routine enrichment, walks, sniffaris, and fun! There may be barking initially, but within 20 minutes or less, everyone is relaxed!
